Sealer Not Switching On

Possible Causes:​

  • The mains plug is not inserted into the socket correctly.

  • fuse blown.

  • Internal Error.

Solutions:

  • Replace fuses, internal and external.

  • Ensure sealer is plugged in to mains correctly.

  • Check that the socket is working.

Error 1

What is E1?

  • Power detected across the elements when the sealer is not cycling.

Possible Causes:​

  • Power (Weld) relay stuck on.

  • Board Fault.

Solutions:

Error 2

What is E2?

  • Jaws Failed to close after start signal recieved.

Possible Causes:​

  • Jaws timeout too low.

  • Board Fault.

Solutions:

  • Increase jaws timeout

  • Replace Board.

Error 3

What is E3?

  • No power detected across the element when sealer is running a weld cycle.

Possible Causes:​

  • Broken element.

  • Power (weld) relay stuck off.

  • Transformer blown.

  • Board fault. 

Solutions:

What is E4?

  • Jaws failed to open after cycle.

Possible Causes:​

  • Jaws timeout too low.

  • Tapes have been replaced too tight/tapes sticking.

  • Board fault.

Solutions:

Error 5

What is E5?

  • Knife failed.

Possible Causes:​

  • Link Broken.

Solutions:

  • Replace link if knife is not fitted.

Error 6

What is E6?

  • Temperature rise in element not sensed within timeout.

Possible Causes:​

  • Timeout incorrectly set.

  • Broken element.

  • Power (weld) relay stuck off.

  • Transformer Blown.

  • Board Fault.

Solutions:

Error 7

What is E7?

  • Over temperature.

Possible Causes:​

  • Thermocouple not connected.

  • Thermocouple broken.

  • Power (weld) relay stuck on.

  • Board fault.

Solutions:

  • Check thermocouple is connected to board input.

  • Check thermocouple is in correct position on jaw.

  • Replace thermocouple.

  • Replace power (weld) relay.

  • Replace Board.
